This card was a combination of both my and my wife's creative minds coming together to celebrate the upcoming arrival of our first grandbaby..a boy! He's already nicknamed 'Jellybean' which is the reason why a real blue jellybean is glued onto the stork's delivery bag!
The ARTicles of Barf Snoodlefart
My name is Joel and thanks to my wife, I've become addicted to stamping and crafting in general. It all started with me doing the journaling and doodling on her scrapbook pages. As to the name 'Barf Snoodlefart' : it's my comical alter ego when I host games for a youth vacation bible school - and it kinda stuck!

WOYWW 292 - Happy 2015
Happy 2015. Another Wednesday and another opportunity to visit crafty workspaces around the world thanks to Julia Dunnit's hosting of WOYWW....click here to find out more.
Here is another project I finished up over the holidays - just for fun.
I covered a canvas board with patterned paper then stamped through a stencil made from the same die used for the greenery. Both the bird and the flower were created from the Jumbo Tattered Floral die. I especially like how the leaves resemble feathers!

WOYWW-285 Messy Christmassy Desk
Thanks to Julia's weekly snoopfest, click here, I am posting my workspace. I usually make Christmassy things after Thanksgiving but decided not to fight myself this year. Here are some cards I have made using the negative cutouts from the tree ornaments I posted about last week.

WOYWW-284 - a TV tray workspace
Head over to here to learn what WOYWW is all about. My workspace today (ok, actually late Tuesday evening in the US Pacific time zone!) is actually a TV tray in my living room. Got this inspiration for a dimensional ornament from a project in May Flaum's online 2014 Holiday class (click here). I cut 4 small Christmas trees from kraft-core stock and embossed them using a musical-patterned embossing folder. After slightly sanding the embossed image on each street (to reveal the kraft core), I inked the edges using a gold paint marker. Following this, I scored and folded each tree in half and glued together while placing the beaded and looped string in the middle to secure it in place.

WOYWW 258 - My, has time flown by
So, I keep taking pics of my workspace and projects over the past few months all with good intentions of posting them to my blog - and linking up to the WOYWW site but never got around to it. In fact, I've edited this very post several times!
So, to keep in the spirit of it all, here is my workspace for today and below that a smattering of items I had fun creating. Click here to jump to the WOYWW 258 posting.
