WOYWW-284 - a TV tray workspace

Head over to here to learn what WOYWW is all about.  My workspace today (ok, actually late Tuesday evening in the US Pacific time zone!) is actually a TV tray in my living room.   Got this inspiration for a dimensional ornament from a project in May Flaum's online 2014 Holiday class  (click here).  I cut 4 small Christmas trees from kraft-core stock and embossed them using a musical-patterned embossing folder.  After slightly sanding the embossed image on each street (to reveal the kraft core), I inked the edges using a gold paint marker.   Following this, I scored and folded each tree in half and glued together while placing the beaded and looped string in the middle to secure it in place.

  10. That is a neat little ornament and it doesn't sound too difficult to make. I started doing a similar thing with an apple (poison apple for Halloween) but somehow it never got beyond all the pieces on my desk. It's still there in a pile somewhere. Judy #73

  12. What a lovely ornament! So simple! Thanks for showing us.
Like Annie, I love your name too. Made me smile. But the name Joel is possibly even better. (Our latest grandchild is called Joel so I'm biased).
Thanks for letting me look over your shoulder,
    Have a good week,
Sorry I'm late but I take my time going through them all. (I enjoy reading all the blogs and look at the photos)
